We have been running the Yasda YMC 430 in our facility for over 12 months. The machine consistently holds tolerances of ±0.003 mm on our aerospace aluminium components, which was our primary requirement. Cycle times are approximately 18% faster than our previous machine on identical programs. The controller is responsive and our operators were productive after just one week of training. Overall an excellent investment that has measurably improved our throughput and scrap rates.

Updating our review after a full year of production use. The YMC 430 continues to impress. We have run over 4,000 spindle hours with zero unplanned downtime. Preventive maintenance is straightforward and the service engineer response time has been excellent. We recently added a second unit — a strong endorsement of the platform.
